Farewell, Mr. Nimoy – The Schetch Pad

My family and I had the privilege of seeing Mr. Leonard Nimoy by Skype at the 2014 Salt Lake City Comic Con. He spoke kindly; he shared wisdom; he sang a song as his grandson accompanied him. Although the character of Spock is obviously not his only contribution to the fabric of American life, few creations have had the type or depth of influence on our culture that Spock has, and we are all a little better for our association, however infinitesimal, with the man who gave that to us.
